Vinh, the business owner, and her team, were extremely professional, kind and perfectionist, nor to mention their great hands when providing us the aroma massage; a pleasant experience that left us so relaxed that we slept as babies that night. Keen eye to detail when doing my manicure too. A plus was the peach tea and watermelon we were offered a few times while being there. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the island. Something to note that by no means is this a fancy day spa. They provide you with a coverup being shorts and a shirt which smelt like that old linen smell, and the towels smelt like this too. But that didn’t stop me from going back as I felt really relaxed here each time after my massage. It was not great either. The moment we arrived we were attacked by mosquitoes and this continued throughout. My boyfriend and I were placed in the same room and he had a Swedish full body massage while I had an Indian head massage. The massages were pleasant enough but certainly weren't great. When our treatment began, 90min full body, we were escorted to the back room and laid down on the massage tables. 2 minutes in the cellphone rang and my masseuse answered, this was a red flag but I kept lying there like a fool. After almost an hour of mindless rubbing, pushing on my spine and scratching me with her freakishly long nails I couldn't stand it any longer and told them to stop this torture. My gf felt the same way and we left with about 40min left on the treatment. The manager made excuses on behalf of his staff and gave us a small discount, fair enough. Maybe they are better at massaging feet and maybe other masseuses are more qualified but this was the worst, or maybe second worst, massage I ever had. It came with a working fridge and a working TV. The hot water worked and everything was functional. The grounds are lovely, well laid out and maintained. My room was nice and clean, had a sweet little patio out front, and good A/C. It also had a comfortable bed, and an extra bed just in case. After settling in, I went out to explore. The resort is a bit out of the "action", which as a solo traveller was a bit of a disappointment. There's not a lot going on in the immediate area, which is nice because it's definitely quiet, but also a bit boring. One note, there is no food service at the resort, which is too bad because they have an upstairs area with TONS of potential, but nothing going on up there at all at least while I was there. The lovely lady next door is good for breakfast, and you can walk out to the street or down to the beach for food. All in all, if I was going back as part of a couple, especially on a budget, I'd definitely consider this place again. The manager was very friendly after we were able to show him our booking in his own stack of papers on the counter. The rooms are nice, the pool is a nice touch if you're not bothered walking the 500m down to the beach. The beach here is the best part of this side of Phu Quoc in my opinion. Less hotels here, which means less people, less sellers, less noise. The restaurant at the beach where you come down has great food for a very good price. Probably the cheapest place we ate in Phu Quoc. Rooms are okay, clean, private bathroom, A/C, and actually quite good wifi. They do laundry here for if you need that. About 500m to the beach, clean rooms and the bed was okey. The pool was cold. We rented motorbikes, and it was a good place to explore the island from. The beach close to the hotell was the best, not to crowded, cheapest food we had a week and great massage places on the beach. Bungalows are simple but ok. Bed is comfy and has mosquito net which is a must. But it's cramped and on your terrace you will participate to your neighbours conversations, wether you want it or not. We didn't try the pool. We couldn't try the restaurant as when we wanted to have breakfast, nothing that we ordered from the was available so we have been next door. The laundry is 30000d per kg but they have no scale so they estimate the weight. Then we got is back so crumpled that it was unwearable. Finally, check out is supposed to be at but we were pushed away earlier. Communication has always been difficult with staff and don't expect a smile. Rudest that we experienced in our 4 weeks stay in Vietnam. The actual place itself was ok for the price range - decent bed, mosquito net, clean with decent shower - and you are just a few minutes walk from the beach. The owner doesn't have much English but you can get by. Our stay was marred by two things there were power cuts multiple times a day not sure if this is occurs island wide or not, so effectively you are paying for aircon without getting it, the wifi connection was not good and the rooms are very close together. The rooms are cleaned every day and are clean, the beds are comfortable and they have mosquito nets. The rooms come with air con, separate bathrooms and a nice little terrace outside your rooms. The bungalows are well kept and the gardens are also well kept and tidy. The staff here are very friendly and have a safe for your belongings. There's a little restaurant at the end of the gardens, although not part of Truong Linh as breakfast is not included here, there's also Lee's Safari Bar just up the road from here that does excellent food and good drinks. They don't take any card payments here so make sure you have been to the bank before checking out!!
